Privacy Policy
Effective 5 August 2026
AlgoForKids does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information about anyone who uses it. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no internet connection of any kind.
Who this policy is from
AlgoForKids is developed and published by an independent developer. This policy explains how the app handles information, and it applies to the AlgoForKids iOS and iPadOS application distributed through the Apple App Store.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect any personal data. Specifically, the app does not ask for, access or record:
- names, email addresses, phone numbers or any contact details
- photos, camera, microphone, contacts, calendars or health data
- location or any location-derived information
- device identifiers, advertising identifiers or IP addresses
- usage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioural data
The app requests no system permissions. There is no sign-up, no login and no profile.
Information stored on your device
So the game can remember where a child left off, AlgoForKids saves a small amount of information in the app’s own private storage area on the device:
- which levels have been completed and how many stars each one earned
- the music volume setting
- the sound-effects volume setting
- the chosen language
This information never leaves the device. It is not personal information, it is not linked to any identity, and it is not transmitted anywhere. It is removed automatically when the app is deleted.
If device backups are enabled, Apple’s backup system may include this data as part of the overall device backup. That backup is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s own privacy terms; we have no access to it.
No network use
AlgoForKids works completely offline. The app contains no networking code and makes no requests to any server, including our own. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is downloaded after installation.
No third parties
The app includes no third-party software development kits, no advertising networks, no analytics or attribution services, and no social media integrations. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared, sold or disclosed to anyone.
No tracking
AlgoForKids does not track users across apps or websites, and it does not use the device advertising identifier. It therefore never presents the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Children’s privacy
AlgoForKids is designed for children roughly five to ten years old, and it was built so that no personal information is collected from anyone — children included. Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct or request deletion of, and no parental consent mechanism is required.
The app contains no advertising, no external links, no chat or messaging, and no user-generated content. There is no way for a child to reach the open internet or communicate with anyone from inside the app. The one optional purchase described below sits behind a parental gate, so a child cannot spend money unaided.
This approach is intended to meet the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the child-specific provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and Apple’s Kids Category guidelines.
Purchases
AlgoForKids is free to download and includes a single optional in-app purchase that unlocks the remaining levels. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and there is nothing else to buy inside the app.
The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Payment details are never seen by, sent to or stored by us. We receive no name, no email address, no card information and no Apple Account identifier. Whether the purchase has been made is determined by asking Apple’s on-device StoreKit framework; that answer stays on the device.
In line with Apple’s Kids Category requirements, the purchase screen is placed behind a parental gate so that a young child cannot reach it unaided.
This website
This site is a plain set of pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from third parties. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability; we do not use them to build any profile of you.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give you rights to access, correct and delete your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose or erase. To remove the locally stored progress and settings described above, delete the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be published at this same address with a new effective date. If a future version of the app were to begin collecting any information, this policy would be updated before that version is released.
